PA HUNTING LICENSES

Unfortunately, very little information is known about these early licenses. Considered the rarest of the rare by many collectors, some collecting 20+ years, have never seen or heard of these elusive licenses. I have researched these licenses extensively and must bow to veteran collector Mr. Robert Miller’s book, A Guide to Collecting Hunting & Fishing Licenses, 2007 for any information. His informative book lists the licenses as being sold from 1931 to 1956. These non-resident licenses were sold to non-American, foreign-born hunters. As such, only a handful were ever issued. I am aware of about 10 of these licenses in existence. Hopefully more will turn up with the paperwork and shed some light on these great licenses. Values are nearly impossible to establish as so few are known to exist.
